Barbara Eden, a beloved Hollywood icon, defies age and embraces life

At 92, Barbara Eden, famed for her role in “I Dream of Jeannie,” continues to defy age with her radiant beauty and vitality. Born on August 23, 1931, as Barbara Jean Morehead, she rose to fame after being crowned Miss San Francisco in 1951.

Eden’s acting career took off with “The Johnny Carson Show” in 1955, leading to her iconic role as the enchanting Jeannie. Celebrated for her diverse roles, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988. Her memoir, “Jeannie Out of the Bottle,” released in 2011, offers a glimpse into her life, career, and personal challenges, including the loss of her son.

Now in her nineties, Eden remains active and engaged in her career, undeterred by her age. She emphasizes the importance of enjoying work and staying involved in what one loves. Eden maintains her stunning looks through a disciplined diet and exercise regimen, including working with a personal trainer.
