How To Remove Those Orange Discolorations From Plastic Jars

Tackling Tupperware Stains: Effective Cleaning Methods

Dealing with stubborn stains on your tupperware containers can be frustrating, but fear not—there are several simple solutions to restore them to their pristine condition.

1. Baking Soda Paste

Create a paste by mixing water and baking soda, then generously apply it to the stained areas. Allow the paste to sit for a few hours before rinsing and washing the container as usual.

2. Distilled Vinegar Soak

Prepare a solution of equal parts distilled vinegar and water, then soak the container in it for a few hours. After soaking, rinse thoroughly and wash as normal.

3. Harnessing the Power of the Sun

Utilize the natural cleaning power of the sun by rubbing lemon juice onto the stains and leaving the container in sunlight for a couple of hours. Follow up with regular washing and drying.

4. Dish Soap and Paper Towel Hack

While not specifically for stain removal, this hack effectively cleans containers used for oil-based foods like pasta. Fill the container with hot/warm water, add a few drops of dish soap, insert a piece of paper towel, tightly close the lid, and shake vigorously. This method ensures a clean, oil-free container with minimal effort.
